Brendan O’Connor has 20 years in the wedding catering industry. He has catered hundreds of weddings and will bring all of that experience to design a custom menu for your special day.

After years of operating a boutique catering company and working in restaurants and hotel banquets Brendan opened his own place in 2012. Big Guys Sausage Stand quickly became a staple of the community and Chicagoland Area serving gourmet fast food for the past decade. 

​

 With the effects of COVID on the restaurant industry, at the end of 2022 O'Connor pivoted and closed Big Guys for daily service to catering full time. 

​

"It is really exciting to focus all of my attention and creativity into special events." O'Connor said, "I've been able to take on larger, more over the top projects. My whole life I've always loved a party so much that I've made a career out of it."

 

"Special events are a large investment. We are committed to setting high expectations and delivering to our clients," said O'Connor. "I have made great friends with so many of my wedding customers. Those relationships have endured because I am fair, dedicated and I know how to serve up delicious food beautifully. Nobody has ever regretted hiring me to cater their wedding."
